Intoduction
Islam is the only religion recognized by Allah. It connotes a complete code of human life. With this end in view, Islamic activities in Bangladesh are conducted through numerous Mosque, Madrasahs and Maktabs but those endeavors are only limited to Islamic education programs. For extending other help and services to the poor and destitute, Al-Markazul Islami is has been playing an incomparable role in such scenarios. Al-Markazul Islami (AMI) has ben established in 1988 as a multi-purpose service rendering organisation. It is a Bangladesh based non-political, non-profitable, relief organisation dedicated for providing humanitarian services in crisis & non-crisis situations. it has been providing the following services to the people.
Providing Ambulances for carrying the poor & helpless patients.
Arranging free bathing of dead bodies of the poor & distressed.
Bearing the educational costs of poor & yatim students.
Construction of Mosques.
Sinking Tube-Well for supplying pure drinking water.
Arranging treatment of the poor & helpless patients.
Distribution of Iftari in Ramadan & beef of Qurbani in Ed-Ul Azha to the poor & the needy.
Bearing the educational cost of blind students.
Free distribution of Holy Quran.
Specially Burial of COVID 19 dead bodies in recent times.
